Occupation: Resource Specialist Marital Status: Married No. of Children: 3 From Marcia: Hi everyone! Looking through the reunion website has been a pleasant journey through the past. You have all done a WONDERFUL job! As for me..I have been involved in education for the past 30 years and am currently looking forward to retirement. I attended Cal Poly, SLO and then went to grad school in San Francisco, where I met my future husband, Mike. Together we have raised 3 beautiful daughters, Lindsay, Lauren and Megan. Olivia, our first grandchild, has brought lots of joy and innocence back into the household! I regret not being able to attend the reunion and will have no excuses for the 40th. Until then....

Occupation: retired Marital Status: Divorced From Kathy: Hi Everyone! This is a great website. I thank everyone who contributed. I'm retired now and enjoying life. Most of my time is spent taking care of my "kids" (dogs, cats, horse). I still live here in Santa Rosa and love it here. I won't be able to attend the reunion, but I wish you all a wonderful time, and look forward to seeing pictures from the reunion on the website.

Occupation: Judge Marital Status: Committed Relationship From Helmut: My senior year at Montgomery High was a time to be remembered all my life. After returning back to Germany I finished school here. Went back to Santa Rosa in 1973 to visit my American family and friends, unfortunately almost all of them had gone off to college or joined the army or whatever. Then I worked for two years in a hospital instead of joining the army. In 1975 I started to study law at Freie Universität Berlin. After spending some time at the London School of Economics I visited the States again in 1978, but didn’t make it all the way to California. Worked some time as a lawyer and finally became a judge at Berlin Criminal Court. Favorite pastimes: open water sailing with my yacht Avalon, rid-ing my motorcycle; unfortunately no kids, not married, but living with the same girl for the last 20 years. I was missing my american brother Dana Smalley in the list of missing grads, too. I myself lost contact many years ago. Does anybody know what has become of him?

Occupation: ESL teacher Marital Status: Divorced No. of Children: 3 From Christine: Wow! It's a trip into the past to peruse this website. Thanks for the fun of its existence. I loved being able to see the photos of "us" grown up. It's been a lot of years, verdad?
I have lived in Iowa for too long. I divorced 3 years ago after 22 years of craziness. But I have 3 "perfect" kids. Two live in Portland, Oregon. The youngest lives near me and attends the University of Northern Iowa where we both went after my divorce. I'm almost finished with a Master's Degree in TESOL/ Spanish. I'm an ESL teacher to the tiny Mexican immigrant kids in Postville, IA. (Anybody see the documentary on this famous little town?) I am also recently engaged to a wonderful guy from Decorah, Iowa. He is a high school Spanish teacher. We traveled in S. America together last summer after I finished teaching in the University at Tarapaca, Arica, Chile. For a great romantic getaway, we highly recommend the Iguazu Falls in Brazil. (It actually borders 3 countries.) Our tenative, unofficial plan for the wedding is May 27, 2007. It's awesome to have a second chance at love.
Both my brothers have passed away. My sister returned from LA to live in Santa Rosa. We just recently saw each other in July, glad to have each other. Teachers have great long summers to travel...but school begins soon so I doubt I will be able to come to the reunion, unless a miracle happens. I would love to see you all and invite you to email me!
Have fun at the reunion! Best wishes to all of you!

Occupation: Retired Marital Status: Divorced No. of Children: 3 From Jean: Divorced 3 years and retired 1 year from Sonoma County Superior Court. I am now doing what I love, traveling the USA in my motorhome. I have been spending the summer in Alaska so will not make the reunion but I love the site and hope to see more information about old friends.
Until I took off on my travel adventures, I had lived in Santa Rosa and still call it home although I am not spending much time there. My daughter, Lisa and the love of my life; my granddaughter, Faith are in Santa Rosa so of course I will be back often to visit. My son, Ryan, is living in Seattle and like me, he likes to roam. My son Daryl is remembered with great love and lives in my heart.
Have a wonderful time at the reunion and good work guys.

Physicist Marital Status: Married No. of Children: 2 From Mike: I’ve been living in Idaho, somehow, for over 20 years now. Beautiful in many ways, lots of fishing and hiking, and a decent place to raise kids, but oh so different than where we grew up. I’ve been happily married to Laurie for 25 years, and we have a daughter (college senior) and a son (high school senior). Although we hadn't kept in touch, I was very saddened to hear about Leslie and Donny. Crazy Donny was a good friend many years ago, and Leslie will not be forgotten either. Have really enjoyed reading the bio comments, especially those of you that I knew. I’m disappointed that I won’t be able to make it to the reunion, but hope to in the future (40?), if you folks that can make it happen do so again. Thanks for your work!
