Youth With A Mission Staff Married 6
A big thanks to all of the reunion committee for this wonderful web site, and especially to Larry Kropp for all his e-mails and phone calls! I was so happy to see someone has scanned part of our '71 yearbook, as I lost mine several lifetimes ago and was really mourning it's loss. It's great to see everyone's pictures and read up on what you've been doing for the last 3 years. What an amazing group of people! I've been working with a Christian missions organization called Youth With a Mission for the last 8 years, in Kona, Hawaii. I love working with young people, helping them find the love of God and their own unique identity in this crazy, mixed up world. In the process of working here I met a wonderful widower from New Zealand named John, and 2 years ago we were married. We're as happy as can be and now work together in a school here called the School of Biblical Studies. Collectively we have 6 grown children from ages 23 - 33: 3 boys and 3 girls, and 5 grandchildren. It's a wonderful family and I thank God every day for His blessings. I'd love to come to the reunion, but we had already planned a trip to Kauai to celebrate our second anniversary. Tough decision: Kauai or Santa Rosa? Kauai finally won out, but my dear friend Julie Dawson (Schmaltz) is coming to the reunion so I'm counting on her to tell me all about it! Blessings to all of you, and have a great time! Pharmacy Technician/Pharmacy Systems Technician Married 4
Jim and I have been married for 28 years. We have 4 children, Becca, Drew, Matt and Sarah Joan. We are blessed to have 1 grandson, Alexander, who is the reward for having 4 children and the joy of my life Ü. Now that the children are grown, we enjoy traveling. So far on our "must do" list we have been able to cross off: cruising, a hiking/biking trip and cross country sight-seeing trip. I enjoy being a Pharmacy Technician at John Muir Medical Center in Walnut Creek, CA. Send Carol a MessageSend Carol a Message

a lawyer/arbitrator/chef/traveler type www.kpclegal.com/profile-JMP.html Married
What a treat to view the postings of the select few with whom we shared some distant and memorable times. Nothing particularly astonishing in my bio: With little else in my career path, I ended up practicing law in LA, an unpleasantness that has allowed me (and wonderful wife, Colette, of 23 years) to spend much of our lives cooking, traveling and providing a home in Santa Barbara for an episodic herd of sheep-like standard poodles (see picture below) I confess being particularly intrigued with the bios posted by those that I knew only peripherally back then, but who have pursued more interesting paths: Merielle Flood, who reports "playing acoustic bass in bluegrass, old time, and vintage country music bands" outside of Nashville. Lelsie Eaton, who with her husband, "own Pat's Blue Rib'n BBQ" in Kansas. Bob Smith "mostly doing startups" in Silicon Valley; Paula Gregerson, who posts a recent photo and notes: "It's important that one's beverage match one's attire;" and, of course, Kent Zimmerman, who had both the nerve and political incorrectness to malign George Bush on a high school reunion web site. Wishing you all a wonderful chance at rediscovering one another for the 35th. Jim

David (MHS'67) and I just celebrated our 30th anniversary in Alaska. We are both retired now and living in beautiful Idaho since 1999. We have three daughters who are now in California, Idaho and Florida. Our three grandchildren--13, 7, and 3-- are all in Idaho. We love traveling and spend 4-6 months in our RV seeing this wonderful country we live in. I spend my time now doing volunteer work within the community and at our hospital. I am sorry I won't be able to join you but will check the web for pictures! Have fun and look us up if in Boise. Send Cindie a MessageSend Cindie a Message
John Pope
Chief Operating Officer Married 2
I've been in Santa Cruz the last 19 years and I'm the Chief Operating Officer at O'Neill (the surf company). I’m enjoying mountain biking, surfing, golf and skiing between my work. All that time in study hall reading Surf and Ski magazines paid off. I hope to make it to the reunion. Send John a MessageSend John a Message

Director, Managed Care Single 1
Greetings All: Over the last 35 years, with the exception of 2 years in the early 80’s when I lived in Washington DC, I’ve been in the greater Sacramento area. I’ve been fortunate in that I have had two very interesting careers, 15 years in Human Resources and I’ve just completed my 15th year in Managed Care working for both a national HMO and a PPO. I was married for 10 years and have a 21-year-old son, Chris who is a senior majoring in Forensic Psychology at a Christian college in the state of Washington. I’m a very proud parent and life is good. Unfortunately I have a prior commitment and will not be able to attend the Reunion but I will be there in spirit with fond memories and a toast to the Reunion Committee for all their hard work and a special toast to Leslie and Don. This is a wonderful website, what a great way to catch up with everyone, thanks so much. Can’t wait to see the “Post-Reunion” pictures. Take Care. Send Jeri a MessageSend Jeri a Message
