Comment: I am so excited about this reunion and this website. I am devouring every word that has been written . It’s wonderful to learn what has happened to classmates that I haven’t seen or heard from in years. I must say I am impressed with all the talented people in our class and all you have accomplished over the years. My husband, John, and I have lived in Southern California for 33 years. We have 3 boys and a girl. One son is a youth minister in Newcastle, Australia, another is a pastor in Curitiba, Brazil, and a third son is an executive who works for my brother, Mark, in his aviation company called Spirit Aviation in Burbank, CA. Our daughter is 9, oops! She keeps us going when we would rather be sleeping. John is president of Youth With A Mission an international, non-denominational missions organization and founder of the International Reconciliation Coalition. We oversee l7,000 missionaries worldwide. Our lives are filled with travel. I guess my occupation would be “helpmate”. I take care of details, serve wherever I can, counsel, and keep our home running smoothly wherever we find ourselves. Can’t wait to see you. Julie Schmaltz Dawson

Comment: Ron and I have been married for 19 yrs. We have been working together in our dental lab for most of those years. I have recently gone back to school to fulfill my dream of working with animals, especially dogs, full time. We have two adult daughters, a 16 yr.old son and 2 beautiful granddaughters. We've never left Sonoma County and we love it! Ron grows his own grapes for homemade wine and I have a dog training facility on our property in Sebastopol. I am looking forward to seeing everyone at the reunion and remembering those who will be with us in Spirit.

My husband passed away in 2010 from cancer.  My two children are grown and gone!  Maybe I should move back to Santa Rosa

Comment: Currently living in Palm Springs with my partner. Bob Seeley. We are commissioned composers for the International GALA Choral Association. Our music--recorded on several CD's has been performed in symphony halls throughout the country, including Carnigie Hall and Kennedy Center. Our 2004 suite, Metamorphosis, which brought us our second Grammy submission, has toured with the James Sewell Ballet, New York City Ballet, and this coming spring will be performed by members of the Joffrey Ballet of New York. Currently we are working on two new commission suites that will premiere in 2007--one at the Kennedy Center and one in Portland with a special introduction by President Jimmy Carter. In between writing I continue to teach (this fall 3rd grade), and conduct workshops and seminars on HIV/AIDS prevention. I celebrate my 25th anniversary living with HIV this next April. After ten years with Shawnee Press in New York, Bob and I now own our own publishing company, Sterling Rose Music. In June I was named teacher of the year for Riverside County by Walmart. "Leslie--you promised me if I submitted this bio to the reunion website, you would help me figure out a way to rub Walmart's name off the damn plaque. Comment: Living in Santa Rosa with my husband Brien. We have three children, Moira - Joe and Bart, at various stages in their adult lives. I am a mediator at Family Court Services for the Superior Court. Am an avid supporter of ArtStart. Check out the fanstastic mosaic mural on the Prince Greenway, you will think that you are in Bartcelona! For those of you out of towners, the Greenway is a walking/biking trail along Santa Rosa Creek that connects Santa Rosa. I had the honor of being a volunteer on that project. See you in September (I think I remember a song with those lyrics....name that tune!)

Comment: Nothing's really changed since our 30th reunion -- still married to Peter, still working in a small ER in Eastern Washington.  But I did learn to scuba dive six years ago, and that's what I spend a good part of my free time doing.  My husband's an instructor and I assist his classes, and I also travel, especially to Mexico for cave diving.



Still living on a small "farm" three minutes from downtown Woodinville. We bred horses for ten years, peaking at 16; we're down to five, three cats an a large and overly vocal Doberman. I work in an ER in Moses Lake, 150 miles from home (part time) and my husband owns a mail-order business. I learned to scuba dive last year, and it's become a complete obsession, and that's where I'm going to be during the reunion -- diving in Indonesia!

Comment: For the last 8 years, I have lived near Chattanooga, Tennessee, playing acoustic bass in bluegrass, old time, and vintage country music bands, singing and writing songs. I love traditional music, and have been honored to perform with some of the finest traditional musicians in the area.
